Quanta creates an online social community of people driven by shared interests and a common passion for advancing new ideas through research. We believe that high school students, given the right supportive environment of resources and mentorship, can advance new ideas - and have fun in the process.

We blend concepts of crowdsourced research, citizen science projects, online education resources, and mentorship in a platform where we are advancing a new wave of massively open online research.

As a high school student, interact with peers to complete project challenges, and receive guidance and support from university mentors and senior researchers.

As an undergraduate or graduate student, mentor high school students working on research projects, or pose project challenges for students related to your own work.

As a university faculty or professional, submit a project for students to work on that advances your own research goals, or mentor high school students.
